Another option for you is to arrange a birth plan consultation with a doula to help you decide whether a doula is right for you. During this visit you are able to talk over what role you might like a doula to fill at your birth, and what your priorities are. The doula can help you to explore the options available to you for various aspects of labour and birth in Singapore, and help you narrow down what is important to you. All this comes together in a written birth plan, so whether you decide to have a doula or not, you still come away with the most important single piece of planning for your birth.
