What training do you have?

| ParentLink labour supporters (doulas)
all carry certification with Childbirth International – the most
extensive training program for doulas in the world!
– or the equivalent. For you, this means the benefit of a doula who has
specialized professional training in her field. |
Each ParentLink doula has completed certification through an extensive
training program with Childbirth International. That means that in
addition to our education in physiology and the medical side of birth,
we have been trained in support skills such as facilitating
communication between you and your caregivers, identifying your
priorities and strategies for putting your plans for birth in place, and
specialized practical physical support skills.

In addition to training,
the ParentLink team has decades of
collective experience supporting women and their partners through labour, including nearly 20 years in Singapore hospitals.
