BabyLink (the
Mother-and-Baby Group)
|
 |
 |
|
 |
| The baby is here. And you may
be wondering: "Is this normal? Is this what all babies do? Does
anyone else feel like I do? What do other parents do when this happens?"
BabyLink is a weekly mother-and-baby group where you can find support
and information. |
Once the birth is past and your little one is
in your arms, you may find yourself facing a whole new range of
questions and experiences. Is the baby's poo meant to be that colour?
How do other parents cope with the lack of sleep? Does anyone have tips
on calming a crying baby?
So often, new parents feel that they are the only ones in the world
awake at 3:00 a.m., trying to soothe a fractious baby, or feeling
confused at all the different advice everyone is handing you
– everyone from
your mother-in-law to your best friend to the taxi driver!
BabyLink provides a safe and reassuring place to come and talk over your
questions and concerns and to share the support of others who are
experiencing the very same things you are, or who have already been
there. Our group does not judge or tell you "what you must do". Instead
it is a place to talk, share ideas, and feel understood.
Babylink get-togethers are held on Monday afternoons.
All women who have taken ParentLink classes or
had a ParentLink doula accompany them through
labour are invited to join. There is no charge. If you have questions,
or if you have not been a ParentLink client but are interested in
joining BabyLink, call Tania at
+65 9671 8428
or
email us.
