Class Dates
Class Dates are as follows:
$260 for 8 consecutive sessions. If you are close to your guess date and think you might not make the 8 sessions,
they can be transferred to postnatal Yoga.
Tina draws her inspiration for yoga from her 2 beautiful boys. While her boys teach her patience and love, yoga
gives her the tool and skill to manage them.
Tina has been teaching yoga since she took up her first YogaKids Certification in 2004 and became the first batch of
facilitator to be trained and fully certified in Singapore by Marsha Wenig, the founder of Yogakids International. She is certified
and trained directly by Sonia Sumar of the Yoga for the Special Child and Master Sivaram in the Sivananda Yoga tradition. She is also
a certified YIN Yoga and YogaDance teacher. Tina studied under Dr Jean Byrne of The Yoga Space, Australia for her Pre-Natal Teacher
Training Certification.
She strongly believes that everyone will benefit from yoga.
For mom-to-be, Yoga prepares them both physically and mentally for their births. They will feel more connected with
their bodies, breaths and babies. Tina’s class include specific pre-natal postures to stretch and tone as well as to encourage babies
into the optimum foetal position for birth. Mindful relaxation will be taught during the class.
For new moms, Yoga helps address some of the most common concerns after births. Postures will be sequenced to help
strengthen the pelvic floors and abdomen, release tension around the shoulders and necks due to nursing. Tina’s class gives moms time
to rejuvenate and nurture themselves.
The class size will be kept small so that every mum will get personalised attention.
Pre-Natal Yoga classes are for all moms-to-be and Post-Natal Yoga classes are for moms 6 weeks after a natural delivery
or 12 weeks after a caesarean-section. Be sure to check first with your doctor before starting on any exercise program.
